Overseas was established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the mid 1980’s. It acted as a customer broker and local transportation provider in Jeddah. After 5 years the Riyadh office was added. These two offices in Saudi Arabia specialized in ocean freight exports.
In 1995 Dammam office was added and in 1996 the company changed its legal status from an establishment to a company with the three Saudi offices conducting its standard operations and adding operations in import ocean freight .
The expansion plans for the company included becoming a regional transporter within the GCC countries and increasing its geographical network to enhance its capability to respond to customers’ needs. Over the next several years the company expanded its field of operation and opened new offices in Dubai, Beirut, Paris and Dallas.
Through a combination of organic growth and acquisition, Overseas now has 18 offices participating in all aspects of freight forwarding and logistics. They are covering the geographic regions of USA, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
